RVS, brons, cusi, ijzer en corten staal. Vers van de pers of oud en al eens gebruikt. Het facinerende van metaal is dat het altijd opnieuw te gebruiken is.<\/p>\n

Lassen, slijpen, kloppen, branden, verven en vergulden. Materiaal dat zich vormt en hervormt onder je handen. Soms met een vooropgezet plan, dan weer vanzelf.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Een oud weegschaaltje van mijn vader. Het stond al jaren op zolder, nooit weg willen gooien. Je zet het voor je neer, kijkt ernaar, pakt het vast, draait het om. Dan opent zich een ‘gewichtig’ wereldje en ontstaat er een club van weegkereltjes.<\/p>\n
